We are really delighted at being able to offer this often overlooked space ship from Space 1999 asa a Prop Replica to collectors. Fans seem to be split over the Hawk – you either love it or hate it – we LOVE it! As one of our model makers, Ian Crichton's favourite ships – it was with great delight that he embarked on building this stunning replica. Unfortunately it wasn’t long before the enormity of the task became evident. As mentioned in other areas of the site, 'kit bashing', the art of detailing using existing commercial kit parts, was a technique heavily used in the construction of the shows original models. Ian has yet to recover from the experience of reproducing in exact detail FROM SCRATCH all of these kit parts some 30 years later. He can currently be found under the workbench with his thumb in his mouth.
